As the preschool year ends, I got to thinking back on how it all began, with a Death March through eight or nine prospective preschools. One had a play room filled with toys. Did they call it the Play Room? The Toy Room? The Crazy Little Squirrels Room? Nope. “The Motor Skills Room.”
We opted for somewhere funner.

We called it the Romper Room and we just all romped around while the “teacher’? was reading her latest Readers Digest.
At my daughters’ preschool it was called the Large Muscle Room. I have never figured out if the adjective went with the first noun or the second.
You want your children’s pre-school experience to be FUN? Where do you get these dangerous, communistic ideas? You’ve been reading BOOKS again, haven’t you?
